Collective Excellence

Maritime Intelligence & Risk Management

"Ships, data, laws, technology,… our clients have all of it. What they come to us for is the moment it comes together.

We are Officers On Watch: people who have stood the watch, read the traffic, run the risk assessment, and learned, often the hard way, what happens when the picture is incomplete.

So whether you need to secure a coastline, protect an offshore asset, optimise every port call, or know what that dark vessel over your cable means before it becomes tomorrow's incident: we give you the one thing technology alone never will. Clarity, when it matters. Action, before it is too late."

Civil Engineering

"Every port, every quay, every kilometre of coastline is a promise: that the infrastructure will hold, whatever the sea sends at it.

We design, investigate and assess for the moment the storm arrives. We have learned that the drawing board is easy, the shoreline is not: tides, salt, currents, decades of wear, and the pressure of a sector that cannot afford downtime.

We deliver maritime insights that keep earning their keep in the worst week of the year, and we say exactly what it will take. Strength you can build on, for the lifetime of the asset. That is what we promise."

Maritime Law

"When something goes wrong at sea, the facts are scattered and blame comes fast.

We establish what truly happened, in terms a court, an insurer, a policy maker or an arbitration can work with, defended by people who know seamanlike conduct because they have practised it.

From a collision to an anchor dragged across a subsea cable, a disputed charter or a sanctioned cargo, we turn legal complexity into a position you can hold, and your reputation intact. Not opinions. Positions."

Civil-Military
Strategic Advisory

"Ninety per cent of what moves across the world's oceans moves on civilian ships, and in a crisis the line between the merchant marine and the naval world disappears overnight.

Governments are waking up to that; few organisations can speak both languages. We can, because our people come from both worlds.

That is why governments and alliances come to us to scope their maritime security, not just to hear what is possible, but what is realistic."

Our Mission

Officers On Watch exists to replace guesswork with ground truth. We turn raw maritime data, satellite imagery, AIS and sensor signals, open sources and advanced analytics, into verified, decision-ready insight for the professionals who guard our ports, fleets and waters.

Our Vision

A maritime world that operates on verified information, not assumptions. Where what is reported matches what is real. Where coastguards, port authorities, fleets and governments act with confidence because their intelligence is built on proof, from the first anomaly to a legally watertight case.

Our Approach

OOW does not rely on the same datasets everyone else uses. We fuse satellite imagery with AIS and non-AIS detection, open-source intelligence and decades of operational judgement IALA-certified, court-recognised, sea-tested to build a picture of the maritime domain that cannot be assembled any other way.

We call this "lookout to insight." When a tracking signal goes dark, we find the vessel. When a fleet hides its origin, we expose it. When sanctions are claimed, we verify them from space.

The result is intelligence that is independent, verifiable, and consistently ahead of conventional sources.
